NO. No, fuck you, that ending is such fucking bullshit and I’m going to fucking spell it out for you why.

“Well, truck’s out of gas.” “Yep.” “So who wants to kill themselves?” “OOOH ME ME ME !” “Hey, me first!”

It’s so fucking rushed that they don’t even act like humans. Who the fuck would do that? People don’t act like that!

If Darabont wanted to do that ending, he needed to do the work to earn that fucking ending. Truck runs out of gas, 12 hours later they’re still stuck in the truck, no hope, nowhere to go to the bathroom, then yes I’d buy it that they go “whelp, fuck it” and ventilate themselves. I certainly don’t fucking buy it when they do it in under 5 fucking minutes!

It’s such a fucking shit rushed ending, that not only did it ruin the movie for me, it ruined the fucking book for me, and that doesn’t even have the same ending!
